In a stunning show of style & vision, the February issue of Italian Vogue reveals editorial content of epic proportions. On new stands now, the current issue contains a beautiful fashion spread that was shot by Emma Summerton. Stylistically, the editorial focuses on dark glamour with a vintage direction- think Josephine Baker combined with the modern high fashion appeal of Naomi Campbell. As one of the greatest living Fashion Editors & Stylists, Edward Enninful was included as a major creative component to creating this staggeringly stylish spread with new & veteran faces of color. Pictured in the spread, we see Joan Smalls, Kinée Diouf, Ajak Deng, Chanel Iman, Arlenis Sosa, Jourdan Dunn, Melodie Monrose, Lais Ribeiro, Rose Cordero, Aminata Niaria & Sessilee Lopez exude heightened elegance & perfectly combined chemistry. Each of these women has had noteable success in the fashion industry & are poised as the new school of model talent in the modeling industry. Titled, "The Blackallure", the spread is seen with the models rocking falls trend dark lip as well as designs from Alexander McQueen, Blumarine, Versace & Jil Sander. Bold use of color compliments the skin tone of each model as dramatic lighting allows a greater feel of creativity to be seen. Finger waved hair is seen on many of the models throughout the spread as a focus of spring's floral printed trend as well as head coverings & more floral accents are included. Lavish fur is seen alongside plunging necklines, fringed gowns & beaded details taht appear throughout the fashionable story. Ostrich feathers by way of Emillio Pucci as well as some sheer gowns allow the glamour factor to be even more pronounced & the result overall is incredible.

Italian Vogue has become a leader in fashion publication for creating groundbreaking concepts & one of their most popular issues, in history, was their "Black Issue", which was orignally published in 2007. The Issue was created to allow the industry to take a closer look at the talent that is not represented in today's fashion industry. Similar concepts relative to the publication's historical issue are mirrored for their February Issue. Here, in the editorial discussed, an inspiring style direction & carefully cast of women come together to create stunning art in the form of fashion photography. Very few fashion publications are able to conquer the creativity & style showcased & envisioned by the editors of Italian Vogue. This spread is clear evidence of that.
